
Rev. Ishakamusa Barashango (April 27, 1938 – January 14, 2004) was a minister, author, historian, educator, and lecturer whose work focused on African history, religion, Christianity, cultural identity, and the impact of European religious traditions on African people. He founded the Temple of the Black Messiah School of History and Religion and was active in African-centered education and publishing.
